We are thrilled to announce that Logansport High School has been selected by the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) at the University of Indianapolis as a mentor school for the Rural Early College Network (RECN) 2.0 as part of a $10 million federal Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant. RECN 2.0 will support 11,000 rural high school students across 20 districts through Early College programming, improving access to advanced coursework and reducing barriers to college.

“Through RECN 1.0, CELL's support and mentor schools helped us achieve Early College endorsement, opening incredible opportunities for our students. Last year alone, 62 LHS students earned the Indiana College Core (ICC), and 10 achieved associate degrees, setting a strong foundation for their future success while saving their families tens of thousands of dollars in tuition costs. We are honored to now pay it forward by mentoring other schools as part of RECN 2.0,” said Matt Jones, Principal of Logansport High School.
