Spring Break proved to be a time of achievements for Wreckless Robotics (Team 5402). The team competed in two district events—the FIN District Lafayette and FIN District Washington—and performed impressively at both events.

At the FIN District Lafayette Event, Team 5402 finished ranked 11th with a solid 9-6-0 record. The team had the honor of being the Captain of Alliance 6 during the playoffs, showcasing strong leadership. Although they fought hard, they were ultimately eliminated in Round 3 of the Double Elimination Bracket.

Wreckless Robotics continued their excellence at the FIN District Washington Event, where they finished ranked 4th with a record of 9-6-0. In addition to their strong ranking, the team was awarded the Quality Award, recognizing their focus on building a high-performance, reliable robot. As the Captain of Alliance 4, they competed fiercely in the playoffs and made it to Round 3 of the Double Elimination Bracket once again.

As a member of the FIRST Indiana Robotics District, Team 5402 now stands ranked #22 out of 71 teams, with a total of 63 points in the district standings. This achievement has officially qualified Wreckless Robotics for the State Competition, which will take place this weekend at Center Grove High School. The team is excited and ready to bring their best to the next stage of the competition!

Good luck, Wreckless Robotics!
